Iran’s foreign minister said Friday that a peace deal with the U.S. has “never been closer.”
In a post on X, Seyed Abbas Araghchi said, “The Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding has never been closer. Pending its finalization, the media should refrain from entering speculation about its content.
In line with our responsible and transparent approach, all details will be shared with the public in due course.”
This week, President Donald Trump indicated a “settlement” with Iran could be signed in Europe as soon as this weekend.
