President Donald Trump is taking part in a multilateral meeting between Middle Eastern and geographically relevant nations including Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Pakistan, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates and Jordan. The major issue up for discussion is the ending of Israel’s military operations in Gaza and finding peace in the region.
President Trump said on Friday that he will host Turkey’s President Tayyip Erdogan at the White House this week. The pair are expected to speak about recent trade and military agreements.
“We are working on many Trade and Military Deals with the President, including the large scale purchase of Boeing aircraft, a major F-16 Deal, and a continuation of the F-35 talks, which we expect to conclude positively,” President Trump wrote on social media.
