Bradley Tusk does not think OpenAI should go public, and says he would short it if it did. He tells Brian Sozzi that both OpenAI and Anthropic are wildly overvalued, and makes an argument you rarely hear from a venture capitalist: a lab whose own chief executive has repeatedly said the technology could be catastrophic should not take on shareholders who will demand it move faster and cut corners. He is warmer on Meta, calling its open-source AI strategy absolutely brilliant while saying plainly that he uses none of the company’s products and is not a fan of its founder.
