Israel and Hezbollah have each accused one another of violating the US-brokered ceasefire that went into effect earlier this week. In an interview, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin “Bibi” Netanyahu said that if Hezbollah were to violate the agreement in a major way, there would be an “intensive war.” The Times Of Israel reports that Netanyahu said he has given the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) instructions that if there is a “massive violation of the agreement” that the response should extend beyond “surgical operations like we’re doing now.”
This comes as the Hamas terror group has claimed responsibility for an attack on an Israeli bus on Friday that wounded at least eight people. The Palestinian Health Ministry identified the shooter as a 46-year-old man. He opened fire on a bus near the Jewish settlement of Ariel in the West Bank and was “eliminated” by law enforcement, according to Israeli officials.
