When the collection was released in 2022, it was launched on a blockchain called Immutable X (IMX), which recently shut down the blockchain that BOOK GAMES originally lived on. BOOK GAMES is now leveling up as we enter an exciting new chapter on Base, a faster and more accessible blockchain that will power the next evolution of VeeFriends experiences. You need to manually activate your tokens onto Base in a 1:1 re-mint on VeeFriends.com/activate for free.

Step 1: Find Your BOOK GAMES Tokens
If you claimed your BOOK GAMES tokens years ago, it will be in the MetaMask wallet you set up at that time.
To find it:
Open the MetaMask extension and sign in (in your browser bar to the right of search or in your extensions drop-down menu).Go to TokenTrove, click CONNECT WALLET (top right corner), select MetaMask, and confirm and sign with IMX and MetaMask.Click My NFTs in the middle of the page.

Visit VeeFriends.com and click “Get Started” in the top right.Sign in your email address (likely the one you used back in January 2022.)Once signed in, go to the menu top right and select “Wallet”Click “Add Wallet → Hot Wallet → MetaMask.”Click “Connect” and “Confirm” in your Metamask Wallet pop up.

Recently, VeeFriends introduced The VeeFriends Wallet protected by Privy, making web3 wallets more simple than ever. Before we head to Step 3, there’s a few things to know about this wallet.
The VeeFriends Wallet is different from your MetaMask Wallet.The VeeFriends Wallet is automatically built into your Veefriends account, and it can hold your BOOK GAMES tokens, as well as other NFTs of your choosing.The VeeFriends Wallet is the only wallet that can be used for burning BOOK GAMES tokens on Burn Island.
Step 3: Activate Your BOOK GAMES on Base
Now for the exciting part, to activate your BOOK GAMES on Base! This process securely transfers your BOOK GAMES NFTs from the old IMX network to Base, where all future VeeFriends utility lives.
