For example, some scam projects lure KOLs with high returns for promotion. Due to a lack of professional due diligence, these KOLs end up causing significant losses to their followers and investors.

– Differences in KOL Capabilities, Subpar Promotion Results: The abilities and influence of KOLs vary. Without thorough research, project teams cannot fully understand the real capabilities of KOLs, resulting in ineffective collaborations, wasted money and time, and potential leaks of key project information. 

For instance, a project team collaborated with a KOL without sufficient investigation, and due to the KOL’s lower-than-expected influence, the promotion was ineffective and critical business secrets were leaked, causing irreparable damage.
