Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said he will travel to the United States this week.
A meeting between Zelenskyy and U.S. President Trump could take place as early as Friday, the Ukrainian president said on “X.”
Ukrainian Ambassador to the U.S. confirmed that Zelensky received an “official invitation for the president of Ukraine to come to the United States for a meeting.”
Zelenskyy also said the main topics of conversation would be air defense and our long-range missile capabilities.
The scheduled meeting comes after Zelensky and Trump held multiple calls over the weekend.
