We are seeing reports today that the United States and Russia are closing in on a deal to continue to observe their nuclear arms reduction treaty that expires this week. From what we are hearing now, both presidents President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin still haven’t officially agreed to a deal surrounding nuclear arms. “Rather than extend ‘NEW START’ (A badly negotiated deal by the United States that, aside from everything else, is being grossly violated), we should have our Nuclear Experts work on a new, improved, and modernized Treaty that can last long into the future,” Trump said.
