ELECTION 2024: Donald Trump and Kamala Harris faced off on the debate stage for the first time ahead of the race to the White House.
“Kamala Harris,” she said, as the Vice President introduced herself as the pair met for the first time ever. “Let’s have a good debate.”
“Nice to see you. Have fun,” the former president Trump said.
The exchange set the tone for the 90-minute debate: Harris controlled the conversation at times, baiting Trump with jabs about his rallies.
