On Monday, the FBI released more details related to the suspect Thomas Crooks in the assassination attempt on former President Trump. The agency has gained access to the phone belonging to Thomas Matthew Crooks, the 20-year-old who opened fire on Trump at his Butler, Pennsylvania rally on Saturday, killing one person and injuring two others in addition to Trump.
Fox News reports that the weapon Crooks used, a DPMS AR-15 5.56, is now at the FBI’s forensic labs in Quantico, Virginia, along with his phone, laptop and at least one Improvised Explosive Device from his car. More than a dozen guns were found in Crooks’ home.
