Teddi Mellencamp is calling out one of her fellow Housewives!
The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star underwent emergency brain surgery after doctors found “multiple” tumors growing in February. Sadly, they discovered five more tumors in her body later on — three in her brain and two in her lungs. It’s been a tough few months for Teddi, but through it all, she has had her friends, family, and fellow Housewives by her side. Well, all except one!
During an interview published with Us Weekly on Wednesday, the reality star revealed only one Housewife “has not reached out” to her amid her health battle…
Garcelle Beauvais!
Fans know that Teddi and Garcelle have not been close over the years — not even when they starred on RHOBH together for Season 10. The former model even called John Mellencamp’s daughter a “little gnat” who is “annoying for no reason” at one point! Jeez! So yeah, they are not besties! However, you would think Garcelle would have put aside any differences they had to send her a quick message of support! It could have been as simple as “thinking of you” or “hoping you beat this”! Something! Anything! But guess not…

Teddi previously called out Dorit Kemsley — her actual “best friend” — on blast for not reaching out after her diagnosis. Understandably, she had been hurt! Who wouldn’t? Unlike Garcelle, they were close pals! However, the podcast host told Us Weekly that Dorit has since contacted her:
“Dorit [Kemsley] has now. I’m good friends with Erika [Jayne], so she said, ‘Dorit does want to reach out to you now, can she?’ I [said], ‘don’t know how quick I’ll be to forgive, but sure.’ But then her message was so nice that I have to say we’ll probably be fine.”
Phew! The last thing Teddi needs is an all-out feud with one of her friends! She’s already going through so much between her cancer battle and divorce from Edwin Arroyave! Who else has been there for Teddi? She shared that Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson contacted her amid her health battle:
“My favorite part about Vicki [Gunvalson] reaching out is she sent a Housewives coloring book that I’m not in.”
LOLz!
Even Denise Richards sent her a note, “which was also a little bit of a shocker” to Teddi. And, of course, Kyle Richards has been by her side “nonstop.” She even “saved the day” and got her into a hospital for emergency surgery immediately after her brain and lung tumors were discovered. Wow! There’s no doubt Teddi has an amazing support system around her right now! And she needs one more now than ever before as her cancer battle rages on!
Elsewhere in the interview, Teddi revealed she has a new devastating update. She found out on March 26 that her doctors discovered four more small tumors on her brain following an emergency MRI. Oh no! The Bravo personality put it bluntly:
“I’m fighting for my life, but also for my family’s life and all the people I love.”
Teddi is not exaggerating about how serious this is, either. Fans know she has a famous catchphrase “Moms always come back” that she uses whenever her children are sad that she has to leave them for work or to go out. However, she hasn’t said it since her diagnosis because she has no idea what will happen:
“I have not said that line to them since I’ve been back [from the hospital]. They all know that I’m fighting the hardest I possibly can, but I haven’t said [it] because I don’t want to lie to them. And I don’t know.”
So sad…
Teddi went on to say that cancer has been “definitely the hardest thing” she has ever had to deal with:
“But now it feels less hard. When I was in the ICU, it was incredibly difficult because I had no memory. One day, I realized it was my daughter’s birthday, and I couldn’t be there for it; it was really sad. It’s still sad when I can’t be there for my kids the way I’d normally be.”
It must not only be hard for her but for them to see their mom going through this, too! For now, Teddi is doing everything she can to beat this. She said she has been “listening to [her] body,” “staying active,” and doing things she loves:
“When I do too much laying [around], I get pretty sad. On the days I’m feeling low, I can get really emotional, and if I’m open with the people in my life, then I have an easier time resting. When I try to pretend I’m OK and resting, it’s hard for me.”
Part of how she has coped with everything is to joke about it. Teddi explained:
“Everybody wants me to be super positive all the time. One of my coping mechanisms is being sarcastic. I’d rather joke about it and have the best possible outcome than be completely in denial and have my heart broken.”
