On May 31, 2026, Reuters reported that Taiwanese BTS fans, aka ARMYs, were visiting temples to pray to Yue Lao. This is for help securing tickets to the group’s upcoming concerts.

Fans gathered at places such as Bangka Longshan Temple in Taipei and a Yue Lao shrine at Guandi Temple in Kaohsiung. They placed offerings on the altars that included purple-packaged snacks matching the group’s official color, group merchandise, photocards, fruit gummies, marked concert seating charts, and written wish lists.

They performed prayers under the sun while seeking better chances for tickets to the three shows at Kaohsiung National Stadium.

Yue Lao, also known as the Old Man Under the Moon, is a Taoist god of love and marriage in Chinese mythology. He is said to tie an invisible red string between people who are destined to meet and form unions. This made him a traditional figure for matchmaking prayers.

Fans turned to this approach because tickets for high-demand BTS events sell out quickly. The Kaohsiung concerts is part of the group’s ARIRANG World Tour. The group will perform there on November 19, 21, and 22, 2026. General ticket sales begin on June 4, 2026.

Seeing this, many fans are reacting to the creative length ARMYs are going to secure their tickets.

One fan said:

“Ok this is wild 😭”

Some are wishing luck to everyone trying for Kaohsiung tickets.

Good luck to all these fans💜hope you all secure tickets

@Reuters Only in Taiwan would concert ticket anxiety somehow become Yue Lao’s business too.😆

Praying for all armys to secure their tickets. namo buddhaya ♥️

More fans chimed in and shared:

@BTS_twt tix are tough to get anywhere but Taiwan is a little legendarily harder for some reason😭 Good luck to all my AMIs trying for Kaohsiung

Can’t say I blame them 😭

BTS FESTA 2026, Nike by You, and more

2026 BTS FESTA marks the group’s 13th anniversary with a series of releases and events scheduled around early June.

The lineup includes a family photo on June 4, the official performance video for Hooligan on June 5, additional logs and films, Run BTS! 2.0 episodes, and the release of the track Come Over along with a limited-edition vinyl for their 5th album on June 12. It also ties into Busan concert dates as part of the broader ARIRANG World Tour activities.

Nike announced a collaboration tied to the ARIRANG World Tour. It includes a Nike By You customization experience that launched on June 1, 2026, at select stores with BTS-inspired designs on apparel and totes.

Exclusive tour merchandise is available in select tour cities and online in China. Locations for the customization experience include Kaohsiung in Taiwan as part of the October 30 rollout alongside other Asian cities.

In other news, as per the early predictions by X user @KoWatermelon the group is leading in major categories for the 2026 Melon Music Awards. These categories include, Aritist of the Year, Album of the Year, and more.

The group will next perform on June 12 and 13 at Busan Asiad Main Stadium.
