Former Cincinnati Bengals star Chad Johnson clashed with a Baltimore Ravens fan over a message for Lamar Jackson. The star quarterback prepares for another season with the Ravens after a disappointing 2025 campaign.

On Thursday, the Ravens’ X account shared a picture of Jackson donning the No. 8 jersey with the caption “Ocho.” Johnson, who was once known as Chad Ochocinco, reacted to the picture by posting a salute emoji.

A fan took issue with that and asked the former wide receiver to stop.

“dont tweet my qb b***h,” the fan said.

Johnson didn’t appreciate the comment and clapped back with a stronger message.

“F**k you & suck on a urine popsicle b***h,” the retired receiver quote-tweeted.

After multiple duels during his time with the Bengals, it seems that Ravens fans have no love for Ochocinco. Meanwhile, the team prepares to face a new challenge in the 2026 season.

They finished 8-9 last year, which prompted John Harbaugh’s exit after 18 seasons. The situation could be favorable for the Ravens, more so after Lamar Jackson set the tone during the voluntary offseason program.

Zay Flowers explains why Lamar Jackson avoids offseason voluntary program

Despite being one of the leaders of the team, Lamar Jackson drew a lot of attention whenever he opted not to show up for the Ravens’ voluntary workouts. Before setting the tone for his teammates this year, he missed them in 2022, 2024 and 2025.

Talking with Leonard Fournette and Jarvis Landry on their “4th and South” podcast, Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers explained why Jackson often decided to skip the OTAs.

“They think he doesn’t care because he ain’t showing up at the OTAs, and they’re thinking he’s missing out on money. But money doesn’t run L (Lamar),” Flowers said.

“He don’t really care about that. L is all into God. He’s big on God, bro. That’s what he’s supposed to do. That’s where he’s supposed to be at. That’s how he feels. L is gonna do everything that he thinks he’s supposed to do. He reads the Bible every day.”

Jackson changed his approach during Jesse Minter’s first offseason voluntary program, which became a story itself.
