Adam Pearce has spoken up in support of an ailing AEW star who recently made a major move in her battle with ALS.
The star in question is Rebel, who was unfortunately diagnosed with terminal ALS last month. The 47-year-old, who has been under contract with AEW since 2019, has been dealing with severe health issues in recent years. In November 2025, she was diagnosed with pulmonary lymphoma, and this year, doctors also confirmed that she has terminal ALS. The disease has progressed to the point that it significantly affects Rebel’s motor and speech abilities. Despite that, the AEW star has continued to fight and recently partnered with the I am ALS movement as an ambassador, doing her part in the long-term fight against the disease.
Rebel announced her partnership on X, which later caught the attention of WWE RAW General Manager Adam Pearce, who reposted it with a message urging everyone to help however they can.
“Any help is appreciated,” wrote Pearce.
His message on X can be viewed below:
Tony Khan on how AEW plans to help Rebel battle against ALS
Tony Khan addressed Rebel’s ALS diagnosis during the Double or Nothing 2026 post-show media scrum. Khan wished the 47-year-old the best, noting that hosting AEW’s annual Fight for the Fallen event could be a good way to support ALS research.
“We’ll have these bracelets, thinking about Rebel and I’m thinking that it would be great to work with Steve Gleason and the ALS Foundation to put together Fight for the Fallen, and have Fight for the Fallen to benefit ALS and people dealing with ALS and the treatment and I think that would be something we could all do that would be a positive way to support and in the meantime, yes, there are ways the fans can support it which is giving to ALS research and supporting the charity now. You don’t have to wait for Fight for the Fallen, and that’ll be a great opportunity also for people to give to support ALS research and treatment,” said Khan. [H/T: Fightful]
From all of us at Sportskeeda, we wish Rebel all the strength in her continued fight against ALS.
