Old Trafford will say goodbye to midfielder Casemiro when Manchester United face Nottingham Forest this afternoon.
The Brazil international has spent four seasons at United after joining from Real Madrid in August 2022 and established himself as a fans’ favourite.
He will depart having played a huge role in the club’s remarkable transformation this season under interim boss Michael Carrick.

He’s fully invested, fully supported us as staff in the performances he’s given. He’s had some ups and downs over the year, [but] to finish so strongly and see that connection with the supporters is really good to see.”
Third-placed United have already clinched a Champions League spot while Forest are safe from relegation.
