We are now learning this Monday that Duane “Keffe D” Davis was found guilty of murder in the 1996 killing of rapper Tupac Shakur. Jurors reached their verdict on Monday, just hours after attorneys on both sides made their final arguments before the court. Davis was charged with a single count of first-degree murder.

Newly released video shows the U.S. military seizing and sinking a vessel that was suspected of being used as a floating gas station by a prominent narco-terrorist group. On Friday, the Marines and sailors from the USS San Antonio intercepted the floating refueling station in international waters of the Pacific Ocean and boarded the vessel. The U.S. service members searched the vessel, took everyone aboard into custody, and then sank the ship, U.S. Southern Command explained in its post.
The jury weighing Lindsay Clancy’s fate asked to go home for the evening and has been dismissed until Tuesday morning, ending another day of deliberations without a verdict. The panel of nine women and three men, led by a female foreperson, must decide whether Clancy was criminally responsible when she strangled her three children, or whether, as the defense argues, she was in the grip of postpartum psychosis and could not appreciate the wrongfulness of her actions or conform her conduct to the law. Prosecutors contend she knew right from wrong and acted deliberately.
Flash flooding in Bright Angel Canyon prompted emergency air evacuations at the Grand Canyon on Aug. 29, anchoring a day of severe monsoon weather that brought blistering heat, blinding dust and dangerous flood threats across Arizona. National Park Service crews initiated an aerial evacuation of “approximately 50 individuals” from the Phantom Ranch area after floodwaters surged through the canyon around 2:30 p.m.
