HiBob has announced the global launch of In Good Company Chapters, a new initiative aimed at bringing HR professionals together through local, city-based communities.

The program is designed to create spaces where HR leaders can meet in person, share ideas, and discuss how the role of people teams is evolving as AI reshapes the workplace.

“These are spaces where people can have real, meaningful, in-person discussions about the challenges and opportunities shaping the future of work, particularly as organizations navigate the complexity of the AI era and look to harness its potential for their people and performance,”

Sophie Chesters, Chief Marketing Officer at HiBob, said.

The launch reflects a broader shift in how HR functions operate. As organizations accelerate digital transformation and begin embedding AI into everyday workflows, HR leaders are increasingly being asked to guide not only talent management but also wider organizational change.

Bringing Global HR Conversations to Local Communities

At the core of the initiative are city-based chapters led by HR professionals. These Chapter Leaders volunteer to organize and host gatherings in their local areas, creating recurring opportunities for peers to connect. Events may range from small roundtables and panel discussions to informal meetups designed to encourage open discussion.

HiBob provides the framework and support structure behind these gatherings, but the direction of each chapter is shaped locally. This approach allows HR leaders to focus on issues most relevant to their own professional communities while remaining connected to a broader global network.

Community initiatives like this aim to bridge that gap by giving HR professionals a space to connect with peers facing similar challenges.

The announcement marks a significant step for HiBob as it looks to support HR professionals through a period of rapid transformation. While the concept centers on community building, the initiative also reflects the growing recognition that HR leaders will play a central role in helping organizations adapt to AI-driven change.

Why HR Leadership Matters More Than Ever

The timing of the initiative reflects a broader shift taking place across global workplaces. According to analysis from Goldman Sachs, around 300 million jobs worldwide are exposed to AI automation, with technology potentially automating tasks that account for 25 percent of all work hours in the US. While automation will not eliminate all roles, it will significantly reshape how work is structured and performed.

As organizations experiment with AI-powered tools, they must also rethink how teams collaborate, how roles evolve, and how employees develop new skills. These changes place HR departments at the center of transformation efforts.

Rather than managing only hiring and employee relations, HR leaders are increasingly responsible for guiding organizations through structural shifts in how work is done.

Research from Gartner highlights this evolving responsibility. The firm notes that HR will play a crucial role in supporting managers as they integrate AI into daily workflows. That includes helping leaders understand how technology changes job design, how employees can reskill, and how organizations can maintain engagement during periods of rapid change.

Against this backdrop, initiatives such as In Good Company Chapters provide a forum where HR leaders can compare strategies, discuss practical challenges, and explore how others are implementing AI responsibly. In a landscape where the pace of change is accelerating, peer learning may become one of the most valuable resources available to HR teams.

A New Model for HR Collaboration

By launching In Good Company Chapters globally, HiBob is positioning the initiative as a long-term platform for HR collaboration rather than a short-term networking program.

The approach also reflects a broader trend in professional communities. After years of remote interaction and digital conferences, many industry leaders are rediscovering the value of smaller, in-person conversations.

For HR professionals, these conversations could prove particularly valuable as organizations navigate the integration of AI into daily operations. Questions around workforce planning, employee development, and organizational culture will require thoughtful leadership and collaboration across industries.
