Gypsy Rose Blanchard is done with social media! Kinda…
As you know, the Into The Weeds podcast has absolutely blown Gypsy’s case wide open as far as public perception is concerned . The Freedom of Information Act has granted us access to a TON of old videos she allegedly sent Nicholas Godejohn before the infamous murder of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard. We’ve been following just how crazy this all has been, and how many followers are starting to view her in a different light…
In response to all these disturbing video releases, she said to her followers before deactivating Instagram:
“I’m not proud of those videos. They were recorded during a period of extreme trauma, coercive control, and emotional dependency. People in these dynamics often say and do things that don’t reflect who they truly are. I am not the same person today. I’ve received treatment, therapy, and have done years of healing work. If you or someone you love is in a controlling or abusive relationship, help is available. You deserve safety and support.”
She also disappeared off TikTok! She changed her username to @protectingmypeaceofmind and unlisted her videos. At the time, followers thought it was weird that she didn’t delete her account and instead just privated some things… But now we know why.
Late Tuesday night Gypsy’s account suddenly went live, and on the screen was her “best friend” Bri, who explained that she was given the account as a “Christmas gift”. Throughout the livestream, she explained how Gypsy just wants to “live her life” and that she doesn’t actually even care about social media. The bio was then updated to say:
“Advocacy | Storytelling | Comedy | Beauty | Community-Led Posted with authorization”

The profile photo has also been changed to a photo of Bri and Gypsy! See some clips from the stream (below):

Fans immediately noted that giving away an account is against TikTok’s terms of service… But what really caught their eye more was the reposts. The account started reposting several things from creators coming to Gypsy’s defense about THOSE videos. As it stands, there are six reposts, two of which are the ones posted above from Bri’s livestream. One is even dragging her ex Ryan Anderson into it! You can see them (below):

Of course, is this actually Bri? Or is it Gypsy? Or someone entirely different? We don’t know for sure! But it’s worth noting this isn’t the only time Gypsy herself has referenced Phoenixes — “rising from the ashes” seems to be a common theme here.
