According to the latest reports, Federal agents have seized electronic devices belonging to former East Bay Congressman Eric Swalwell. According to our partners at FOX 2 San Francisco, agents executed the seizures on Saturday at Swalwell’s Washington, D.C., residence, as well as directly from the former lawmaker at San Francisco International Airport. LiveNOW’s Austin Westfall is learning more about Swalwell’s future with Jana Katsuyama from FOX 2 San Francisco as well as Michael Tabman, a former FBI agent.
The device seizures are reportedly linked to sexual misconduct allegations involving the former congressman. Representatives for the FBI, as well as Swalwell and his legal team, have not issued statements or commented on the matter.
