Is David Beckham ready to mend the fences with his son Brooklyn Beckham?

If you have kept up with the drama, you know the family has been embroiled in a nasty feud. Some sources claimed Romeo Beckham‘s relationship with Brooklyn’s ex-girlfriend, Kim Turnbull, is the cause of the tension. (The pair broke up this month due to the “pressure” from the rift, FYI!) Meanwhile, others said the problem was never Kim, but the hot sauce entrepreneur’s wife, Nicola Peltz, instead. Regardless of the reason, things are bad in the family, and no one has made any attempt to end the fighting for weeks… until now?!

This week, King Charles finally awarded David knighthood after years of the former professional soccer player trying for the honor. Victoria Beckham, of course, is proud of her hubby and took to social media to praise his accomplishment. She wrote:

“​You’ve always been my knight in shining armour, but now it’s official. Sir @davidbeckham!!! What an honour, I couldn’t be prouder of you. Your dedication to the things that matter most — your country, your work, your passion, and most of all, your family — has never wavered. The way you’ve touched so many lives over the years with kindness and humility speaks volumes about the man you are and continues to inspire us everyday. But above all else, I’m so, so proud to call you mine. I love you so much”

Naturally, there were a ton of comments congratulating David and reacting to Victoria’s kind words. Her husband even responded, sending his “love” to his wife and children — including Brooklyn! David wrote:

At this time, Brooklyn hasn’t reacted to the post. He reportedly hasn’t even publicly — or privately — said anything about David’s achievement. In fact, the 26-year-old only found out about his knighthood “through the media” like everyone else! Just goes to show how estranged they are! But does David want to fix that? Was the nod to Brooklyn him making up for the oversight and taking the first steps toward ending the feud? Hmm.
