Speaking Thursday at Day 4 of the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, former President Trump formally accepted the GOP presidential nomination. Trump is seeking a second term in the White House after he was elected back in 2016. He lost the 2020 election to Joe Biden. Trump has been wearing a bandage on his right ear following an assassination attempt during a weekend rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. His running mate, Ohio Senator JD Vance, made his first speech to the RNC as a vice presidential candidate on Wednesday night.
