Hawaii is on high alert this week as Tropical Storm Nolo is nearing hurricane strength in the Pacific. Nolo is expected to become a major hurricane this weekend and precipitation totals ranging from 8 to 12 inches and 19 to 24 inches on the eastern side of the island are possible.
