Billie Eilish was one of several artists to use their Grammys acceptance speech to call out ICE amid Donald Trump’s administration’s inhumane tactics in the immigration crackdown.
The Oscar-winning singer took the stage at the Crypto.com Arena alongside her brother Finneas to accept the award for Song of the Year (“Wildflower”).
“As grateful as I feel, I honestly don’t feel like I need to say anything, but that no one is illegal on stolen land,” she said after accepting the award from Carole King.
Eilish received support from the audience and continued, “It’s just really hard to know what to say and what to do right now. I feel really hopeful in this room, and I feel like we just need to keep fighting, speaking up, and protesting. Our voices really do matter, and the people matter.”
The singer was bleeped out, but lip readers say that Eilish said, “F*** ICE,” which got another round of applause from the arena.

Eilish was not the only one to criticize ICE on the Grammys stage; Bad Bunny also used the moment to deliver a powerful message amid the raids.
“ICE out,” Bad Bunny said after accepting his award.
The Puerto Rican singer added, “We’re not savage, we’re not animals, we’re not aliens, we are humans, and we are Americans.”
Bad Bunny also gave some advice to the people listening, saying, “The hate gets more powerful with more hate. The only thing that is more powerful than hate is love. So please, we need to be different. If we fight, we have to do it with love. We don’t hate them. We love our people. We love our family, and that’s the way to do it — with love. Don’t forget that, please.”
