Mornye has been confirmed as the second playable resonator from Lahai-Roi, who will join the game in the Wuthering Waves 3.0 update. As the curtain call on the 2x set of update draws near, Kuro Games is set to venture into the next chapter for its post-apocalyptic, sci-fi, action RPG, and two new characters will be released as part of the upcoming update.

Lahai-Roi was teased several times, both in-game and with a new teaser trailer, and the Rover is all set to travel to this nation of science in the upcoming 3.0 update.

Mornye announced for the Wuthering Waves 3.0 update

Kuro Games earlier showcased a teaser trailer of Lahai-Roi on November 26, 2025, sparking hype in the community. Later, they revealed 5 playable Resonators from the region, which also included Mornye in Wuthering Waves. While not much information was available, on November 28, she was confirmed to become playable with the upcoming 3.0 update.

She is one of the many professors of the Startorch Academy and also a researcher from the nation of Lahai-Roi. Her official announcement post, which is available on various social media under the game’s accounts, has the following to say about her:

“Spacetrek Collective researcher and a professor at Startorch Academy, smart as a whip but not very talkative. She is unwavering in the pursuit of her dream – to surpass the limits of space-time and see the world beyond in all its splendid beauty.”

Mornye is not the only resonator who will join the 3.0 update, as Lynae in Wuthering Waves, another character from the nation of Lahai-Roi, is also set to become playable in the upcoming patch. Her weapons and attributes are currently unknown, but they will soon be revealed by Kuro Games via official social media posts.

When will Mornye release in Wuthering Waves 3.0

Version 2.8 of the game will end a week earlier, with patch 3.0 releasing on December 25, 2025. There is a high chance that the professor of the Startorch Academy will be released during the second phase of the upcoming update, on January 15, 2026.

While this generally tends to be the case, as can be observed from prior character releases, Kuro Games might change its plan and approach when it comes to the next area of Lahai-Roi.
