President-elect Donald Trump has chosen Florida Republican Sen. Marco Rubio to be his secretary of state – a decision that will make the Cuban American senator the first Latino to serve as the nation’s top diplomat and the highest serving Hispanic in American History.
Rubio’s appointment was first-reported in the New York Times.
