Tips to tidy up your portfolio for 2025

With 2025 underway, it’s a good time to take a step back and clean up your financial portfolio.
Heather Knight, Vice President and National Brokerage Coach at Fidelity Investments joins Wealth to share some of her top tips.
“First thing I would say you want to do is to compare your end-of-year portfolio performance to a benchmark or an index that might be relative to your portfolio,” Knight advises. She then says to check under-performers in that portfolio. “Ask yourself if something changed with these positions since you bought them.”
Knight says she personally checks positions each quarter and recommends that people “try to do that at least once a year.”
