On Thursday, the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office held a press conference to provide an update on the multiple major wildfires that have forced thousands of residents to evacuate across the region. Officials said firefighting crews are making progress containing the Autumn Lane, Old Trails, and Fairview fires, which have burned more than 10,000 acres.
