Sandra Bullock is ready to put herself back out there again!
In August 2023, the 61-year-old actress lost her longtime partner, Bryan Randall. He passed away at only 57 years old after a secret three-year battle with the progressive neurodegenerative disorder ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. Heartbreaking. Following his death, Sandra has remained out of the spotlight. She didn’t attend red carpets, do interviews, go to Hollywood parties, or even step out for a casual day out for a long time.

We’ve seen her recently step out more and more, all because she’s making her acting comeback with the sequel to Practical Magic, which will drop in September. Thankfully, she could do the second movie! She told CNBC‘s Changemakers Summit in New York City in April that the only reason Sandra even signed on for the film is that it didn’t conflict with her two kids’ schedules:
“I made this film at this time because I knew my kids were out of school. I’m not going to sacrifice my children’s time — my time — with my kids.”
Phew! Could you imagine Practical Magic without Sally Owens? We couldn’t! As for the rest of her personal life? You know, dating? Sandra hasn’t divulged anything to the public. She hasn’t even been seen with anyone romantically over the past three years. However, it sounds like she might be ready to dedicate some time to that area of her life again.
A source revealed to RadarOnline on Friday that the Miss Congeniality star has been thinking about giving romance another shot! Amazing! That said, she is not looking for someone to take the place of Bryan! No one could! But she wouldn’t mind having a special person in her life again. The insider explained:
“Bryan was the love of her life. She’s not looking to replace him. But she is ready to open her heart to the possibility of meeting someone new and maybe even finding love.”
Don’t expect her to go out and find a new partner tomorrow, though! The source continued:
“She’s not in any sort of rush, and she’s not desperate. She’s discreetly telling friends that she’s ready to start dating.”
