Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Donald Trump are set to meet in Washington and hold a joint news conference. Trump signed executive orders ahead of that meeting. Trump warned he “left instructions” if Iran assassinated him the US foe would be “obliterated.” Back in November, the Justice Department announced federal charges that an Iranian plot to kill Trump before the presidential election had been thwarted. Trump said he’s given his advisers instructions if Iran attempted to assassinate him.
