Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is set to visit the White House next week, when he plans to meet with President Donald Trump. The scheduled meeting on July 7th comes as Trump has pushed for a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas in Gaza, and the return of remaining hostages. An Israeli official in Washington told Reuters that the leaders are expected to discuss Iran, Gaza, Syria and other challenges in the Middle East.
