Lewandowski scored a brace on his home debut for Chicago Fire in a 2-1 win over Charlotte FC.

Moments after Pep Biel had put the away side in front, the former Barcelona striker picked up the ball on the edge of the box and fired a clinical finish into the left-hand corner.

Lewandowski then put the hosts in front in the 68th minute as he latched onto a cross and headed in the winner, bolstering fourth-place Chicago’s play-off hopes.
