Microsoft’s Designer app is coming to iOS and Android with AI editing and rendering capabilities. With Canva’s competitor Designer, you can create images, stickers, and more.
Microsoft’s AI-powered Designer app has recently been released as the final version after preview on both iOS and Android platforms. Microsoft Designer can create custom images, stickers, greeting cards, invitations, and more. In this regard, Designer is a free competitor to the popular Canva.
Designer is now on mobile
Designer is now available to most people with a Microsoft account. Initially available on the web or via Microsoft Edge, Designer was essentially almost a stellar preview. The platform is now available on iOS, Android, and the native Windows app, as well as the web.
Designer also includes features such as editing and removing backgrounds, removing people or objects from images, and adding text and branding to images. On the other hand, although Designer can be used discretely, Microsoft also integrates the platform into Windows and Office applications. Thanks to Copilot in Word and PowerPoint, support can be obtained from Designer. However, these require a paid Copilot Pro subscription. Finally, Designer renders the images with OpenAI’s DALL-E 3 model.
