A widespread technology outage is disrupting flights, media outlets, banks and companies worldwide. Cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike said that the issue believed to be behind the outage was not a security incident or cyberattack. The global technology outage affected Microsoft 365 apps and services, causing hours of continued disruption. The website DownDectector recorded growing outages in services at Visa, ADT security and Amazon, and airlines including American Airlines and Delta.
