Police in Menasha, WI, have issued a curfew in the aftermath of a devastating EF-2 tornado. Photos and videos emerged showing the tornado damage. You can see photos throughout this article.

“The level of destruction from the tornado in Appleton, Menasha, and Neenah, Wisconsin is unfathomable. This just doesn’t happen here. I’ve lived here for 45 years, I know,” a man wrote on X, sharing photos of the devastation. “We are aware of severe damage in broad areas,” Menasha police confirmed.

There are no reported fatalities, according to Fox 11, despite videos showing severe damage to homes, uprooted trees, turned over cars, and the like.

Damage is shown from a tornado that tore through the area July 27, 2026 in Menasha, Wisconsin. Houses suffered severe damage but there were no immediate reports of fatalities or injuries from the fierce winds of the tornado that caused 30,000 people to lose power, according to published reports.

“In response to Mayor Austin Hammond’s Proclamation and Declaration of Local State of Disaster, the Menasha Police Department has issued a City-wide curfew from 10:00 PM – 5:00 AM, effective July 27, 2026, until further notice,” police wrote around 7:30 p.m. on Jul7 27, 2026, as residents surveyed the damage.
