The conflict began when 50 Cent shared an old photograph of Tiny Harris through social media on February 22. The post had no caption yet viewers understood it as T.I.’s answer to 50 Cent after T.I. had just criticized him during the Verzuz battle discussions. King Harris created a video which showed his mother being harmed so he could express his anger through profanity-laden content that became widely shared on social media platforms.

King Harris defends his mother at all times throughout the clip while showing visible signs of anger. “Stop fucking playing with my mama,” he says directly to the camera. He challenges 50 Cent to “post a picture that looks better than mama” and suggests he put flowers on her grave. The video shows a son who tries to protect his mother from disrespectful treatment.

The internet showed two completely opposite reactions to the content. The users who viewed the content found themselves shocked by the extreme insult which targeted 50 Cent’s deceased mother Sabrina Jackson who died in 1994. “Oh dear. Thoughts and prayers for this Yn,” one user wrote, predicting a harsh comeback. Another stated bluntly, “50 about to cook this kid like he did Ja Rule back in the day.”

The defenders of King Harris maintained that he had the right to protect his mother from any attack. “He spoke about his mama and he spoke back about his mama. His mama is just dead,” argued one commenter, framing it as an even exchange. Another supporter wrote, “I’m willing to go to war against the world for my momma. Don’t give a damn about no 50 cent when it comes to my momma.”
