Make sure you find the lightest balls for your kid (most places have 6-pound balls). Also, ask your bowling alley to put bumpers in the gutters of your lane. You can also ask if your alley offers ramps for the kids to simply push the ball down.
No, shoe rentals are not included. You will need to pay whatever your local bowling alley charges for rentals — or purchase your own bowling shoes and bring them along.
