Secretary of War Pete Hegseth said Friday that Iran’s Supreme Leader is “wounded and likely disfigured.” He made the remarks during a news conference alongside Gen. Dan Razin Caine, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
Mojtaba Khamenei, the son of the former Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, was appointed the country’s new Supreme Leader, but he has not made any public appearances. His first “statement” was delivered over a photo, read by someone else.
