The Web3 gaming company Immutable has partnered with the international game developer Kadath Studio to launch a trading card game called Call of Myth. One of the outstanding features of this game is that it is free to play.

According to an Immutable tweet, Call of Myth is a strategic horror game in a world of nightmares. The two companies aim to fully release the game on Immutable Play in early 2026, after hosting an exclusive playtest later this year. The partnership between the duo has been in the works since late April 2025, following a meeting in Dubai among some team members.

Kadath Studio is focused on creating Unity-based casual and mid-core cross-platform games using the collectible card game (CCG). Call of Myth is one of the platform’s new products. The game is immersed in and shaped by the Lovecraft universe. This universe features themes and settings inspired by the works of the American writer H.P. Lovecraft. His pieces are characterized by ancient deities, cosmic horror, forbidden knowledge, and a descent into madness.

In Call of Myth, players get to collect their cards, face their opponents, and face different kinds of horrors, while holding tight to whatever sanity remains. 

Alongside the horrors of the game, Call of Myth also features a $1 million prize pool for tournaments and golden tickets to reward exceptional performance. There are no financial barriers to players participating in the game, as entry requires no NFT purchase or initial investment. Even the golden tickets are earned, not bought – qualification for rewards is based exclusively on player merit.
