On Wednesday, a massive flash flood struck the border region between Nepal and China, killing more than 160 people and leaving hundreds missing. Nepal’s tourism authority said at least 484 tourists were also reported missing, including at least three U.S. citizens.
The U.S. State Department said it was closely monitoring the situation and communicating with authorities in Nepal. LiveNOW’s Austin Westfall brings FOX Weather meteorologist Katie Byrne into the conversation to discuss the devastating flooding.
