President Trump said the Hamas terror group is not interested in a ceasefire deal with Israel, adding “I think they want to die.”
Speaking with reporters on Friday outside of the White House, the president was asked about the US exiting talks in Doha.
He explained “Hamas didn’t really want to make a deal” and said Israel is “going to have to finish the job.”
A top Hamas official has responded saying the group is “appalled” by Trump’s comments.
