Denver International Airport (DEN) is one of the busiest airports in the world despite having only one terminal. It serves more than 20 airlines.

There are 26 airlines that fly to Denver airport:

Southern Airways Express.

Jeppesen Terminal

Jeppesen Terminal, the only terminal at DEN, is split into three concourses: A, B and C.

Lounges

Denver airport has eight lounges:

American Airlines Admirals Club: Concourse A, mezzanine level, near gate 32.

The Centurion Lounge: Concourse C, mezzanine level, near gate 46.

Delta Sky Club: Fourth floor, Concourse A center core.

United Club Fly: Concourse B, near gate B60.

USO lounge: Fourth floor, Concourse A center core.

Restaurants

Denver airport offers full-service restaurants, bars, family-friendly establishments, 24-hour options and grab-and-go locations. You can filter restaurants by price and type of cuisine on Denver airport’s website.

Shops

Like its restaurants, you can find all of Denver airport’s shops on the airport’s website. There are also duty-free shops for international travelers.

Security checkpoints

Denver has three security checkpoints:

Denver airport keeps updated wait times on its website. It’s a good idea to check these before you depart.

TSA PreCheck

TSA PreCheck, which allows you to keep your liquids in your bag and your shoes on your feet, is available at two of three checkpoints:

The West checkpoint has new security that includes facial recognition and doesn’t require you to remove anything from your bag, though liquid limits still apply.

Clear

Clear is a paid membership that allows you to pass the standard queue at security, whether that’s with TSA PreCheck or the regular line.

Clear kiosks are available only at the South security checkpoint.

Global Entry

Denver airport provides Global Entry kiosks to travelers returning from abroad. These kiosks allow registered travelers to pass quickly through immigration.

Rental cars

If you’re looking to rent a car at Denver airport, you can catch a ride to the rental car lots by grabbing a shuttle on level 5, island 4 on the east (Doors 505-513) and west (Doors 504-512) sides of the Jeppesen Terminal.

Car-sharing is also available for travelers, with pickups at the East Garage, West Garage, East Economy Lot and West Economy Lot.

Public transit

If you’d like to use public transit to get to or from DEN, you’ll need to go to the DEN Transit Center on level 1, adjacent to the Westin Denver International Airport.

You can catch either a bus or a train from Denver airport, depending on where you need to go. If you’re traveling to downtown Denver, you can use the airport rail line. It costs $10 per person and takes you to Denver’s Union Station.

Otherwise, the Bustang is a coach that will take you to a variety of locations. Its main routes include stops in:

Taxis and rideshares

Uber and Lyft are available for passengers, with pickups on island 5 of either side of the terminal (east or west).

Taxis from Denver airport charge a fixed rate for eligible destinations:

Downtown Denver (Zone A): $72.04.

Denver Tech. Center (Zone B): $80.04.

Boulder (Zone C): $115.04.

Tower Road (Zone D): $37.04.
