The former Barcelona and current Inter Miami FC star and his wife, Antonela, and their three children, attended Coldplay’s final U.S. show of their Music of the Spheres World Tour concert Sunday night at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.
The family sat in a private suite and enjoyed the scenery below them. But the couple soon found themselves front and center, courtesy of Coldplay’s now famous kiss-cam.
With the kiss-cam fixated on the seemingly shy couple, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin couldn’t help but literally sing Messi’s praises.
“Thanks for coming today to see our band play, the No. 1 sports person of all time,” Martin serenaded Messi.
The praise elicited “Messi! Messi!” cants from Messi’s home crowd.

The now famous kiss-cam came to the forefront of the public conscious following Coldplay’s July 16 concert in Boston, where then-unknown Astronomer CEO Andy Byron was caught canoodling with the company’s chief people officer, Kristin Cabot, who is not Byron’s wife.
The cheating scandal resulted in the executives resigning from the New York-based tech company, and Byron’s wife looking for refuge in the estranged couple’s home in Maine.
Amid the fallout, the viral moment helped Coldplay’s business with a 25 percent bump in their on-demand audio streams in the days that followed.
