The video came “from a liquor store just down the street from Celeste’s family home,” according to TMZ, and it was timestamped just after 7 a.m. on March 19, 2024, in Lake Elsinore, CA.
Rivas’s family identified the figure as the teen; she is wearing a “black hoodie and white paints,” according to TMZ, and she is “striding down the street.” She switched between walking and running in the video, TMZ reported.
The entertainment site quoted the liquor store owner as saying that Rivas’s sister had reviewed the video footage at the time to see if Rivas had run away.
