There was an exciting night of Carabao Cup action as all five Premier League teams secured emphatic wins in the second round on Tuesday.

Everton, Crystal Palace, Fulham, Brighton, and Leicester all cruised to comfortable victories over lower-league opponents, scoring a total of 17 goals and conceding none.

The Toffees secured a 3-0 win over Doncaster with three second-half goals, while Palace defeated Championship side Norwich 4-0.

Brighton and Leicester also recorded 4-0 wins against Crawley and Tranmere respectively, with Fulham beating Birmingham 2-0 away from home.

Everton get first win of season

Everton got their first win of the season with a 3-0 victory over League Two Doncaster after a quiet first half.

Summer signing Tim Ireogbunam opened the scoring with a superb strike from outside the box, followed by goals from Iliman Ndiaye and Beto.

Seagulls see off spirited Crawley

Brighton overcame a spirited challenge from Crawley to secure a 4-0 win in the Carabao Cup.

Despite Crawley’s strong first-half performance, goals from Simon Adingra, Jeremy Sarmiento, Adam Webster, and Mark O’Mahony sealed the victory for the Seagulls.

Leicester get first win under Cooper

Leicester secured their first win under Steve Cooper with a 4-0 victory over Tranmere, with goals from Jordan Ayew, Stephy Mavididi, Wilfried Ndidi, and Harry Winks.

Stansfield nets on Blues return

Jay Stansfield scored on his return to Birmingham as Fulham clinched a 2-0 win, with Raul Jimenez also getting on the scoresheet.

Mateta double helps Palace sink Norwich

Crystal Palace secured a 4-0 win over Norwich, with Jean-Philippe Mateta scoring twice, including a spectacular bicycle kick.

Daichi Kamada and Ebere Eze also found the back of the net in a convincing victory for the Eagles.
