We are now learning that New York Attorney General Letitia James has been indicted by a grand jury on a fraud charge this Thursday. The New York AG was indicted in the Eastern District of Virginia on one count after a mortgage fraud investigation, according to one source who spoke to The Associated Press. AG James, a second-term Democrat, has denied wrongdoing. She has previously said that she made an error while filling out a form related to the purchase of a home, but rectified the problem quickly.
President Trump has previously said that James is “guilty as hell” and told reporters at the White House: “It looks to me like she’s really guilty of something, but I really don’t know.”
