Bitcoin (BTC-USD) nears $100,000 as President-elect Donald Trump’s pro-crypto rhetoric sends crypto-related stocks higher. Metafide CEO Frank Speiser joins Catalysts Hosts Seana Smith and Madison Mills to discuss his bitcoin outlook as the Trump administration is expected to introduce crypto regulation. Speiser says “The only place to go is up from here. And I think, you know, we’ll definitely get to $100,000 this year. We’ll probably surpass $250,000 next year, and probably $500,000 by the end of 2027 is entirely achievable.” If Trump were to introduce a crypto agency under his second administration, the CEO says that would help legitimize bitcoin as an asset, adding “more stability.” He adds, “As more people come in, the market will smooth out, and it’ll look more and more like a mature market as time goes on.” Watch the video above for more on Speiser’s expectations about bitcoin going forward.
