The pace and scale of artificial intelligence infrastructure deals lately has been staggering, with OpenAI, the maker of ChatGPT, alone racking up around one trillion dollars worth of AI deals this year. These interconnected investments between companies like Nvidia, Oracle, Broadcom, CoreWeave, Meta, Google, AMD, Microsoft and others have dramatically lifted the valuations of many of the companies involved and sent U.S. stock indexes soaring. But some experts are worried that this tangled web of deals is reminiscent of the dotcom bubble.
