Pop and Bottle Oat Milk Lattes Are Dropping in Aldi Stores
Pop & Bottle Oat Milk Lattes, hitting Aldi shelves, contain not just one, but a host of functional ingredients. Their main ingredients include oat milk, dates, cold brew coffee or green tea and matcha, organic natural flavor, Himalayan pink salt, gum acacia and rosemary extract.
Each can is 100-, 110- or 120-calories and offers 2-grams of fiber and 1- or 2-grams of protein with 0-grams of added sugar. They’re available in Caramel Cold Brew, Mocha Cold Brew, Vanilla Cold Brew and Matcha Green Tea.
The functional ingredients vary depending on which canned latte you choose.

What Functional Ingredients Are in Pop and Bottle Oat Milk Lattes?
For the Caramel Cold Brew variety, one featured ingredient is lion’s mane—a shaggy, white-colored mushroom that resembles a mane or beard. According to the National Institutes of Health (NIH), lion’s mane “has been widely recognized for its potential benefits in supporting cognitive function, gut health, immune regulation, and antimicrobial activity”. It has become incredibly popular as an additive in food and beverage products, notably coffee drinks, over the last few years.
Next are reishi, used in the Caramel Cold Brew variety and maitaki, used in the Green Tea Matcha variety. These are types of fungi that have been used medicinally for thousands of years. According to the NIH, they may reduce blood glucose levels, improve immune function, act as an antimicrobial agent and more.
The caramel version also contains Medium Chain Triglycerides, listed as “coconut MCT oil” in the ingredients list. MCTs potentially offer a multitude of health benefits, according to Cleveland Clinic, including increased satiety which may aid weight loss efforts, enhanced cognitive function, and improved digestion, insulin sensitivity and athletic performance, to name a few.

The Mocha Cold Brew variety features cacao and cacao extract for rich chocolate flavor, and ashwagandha and maca as functional ingredients. According to the NIH, ashwagandha may assist with stress and anxiety reduction and sleep improvement, while maca may improve mood, energy and sexual function in men, says WebMD.
The Vanilla Cold Brew flavor contains marine collagen, which may help with bone and muscle health, per the NIH.
What Are Fans Saying About Oat Milk Lattes?
Pop & Bottle Oat Milk Lattes are sold at other retailers, and there are mostly positive reviews. One Target customer said “I absolutely loved my vanilla latte. It was light, very smooth, and tasty. It’s my new go to.” Another stated, “Great tasting coffee drink with added collagen as a bonus!” referring to the vanilla flavor.
“Pleasantly surprised that the flavor was very smooth and actually enjoyable. I am not a fan of canned coffee products usually as they tend to just taste off compared to their fresh counterparts, but this was enjoyable, especially considering there is no added sugar and the addition of collagen (from fish and seaweed I’m assuming) that did not add a weird aftertaste”, explained a Mocha fan.
At Aldi, each 8-ounce can will retail for $2.95 and will drop with the next round of Finds on September 3.
