Officials with the US Justice Department (DOJ) meet Thursday with Ghislaine Maxwell, an associate of convicted sex-trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, at the Florida prison where she is being held.
This comes as the House Oversight Committee voted Wednesday to subpoena Maxwell, though the DOJ and House Speaker Mike Johnson have questioned Maxwell’s credibility as a witness, saying she could easily lie under oath.
