Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Colombia, the added 0.17%.

The best performers of the session on the were Cementos Argos Pf (BVC:), which rose 2.80% or 300.00 points to trade at 11,020.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Banco De Bogota SA (BVC:) added 1.45% or 460.00 points to end at 32,260.00 and Grupo Argos SA Pref (BVC:) was up 1.27% or 220.00 points to 17,500.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Grupo Nutresa SA (BVC:), which fell 2.12% or 2,760.00 points to trade at 127,240.00 at the close. Ecopetrol SA (BVC:) declined 1.89% or 35.00 points to end at 1,820.00 and Bancolombia Pf (BVC:) was down 1.64% or 760.00 points to 45,540.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.

US coffee C for September delivery was down 1.15% or 3.35 to $287.85 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in September fell 1.64% or 135.00 to hit $8,090.00 , while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.11% or 3.60 to trade at $3,346.50 a troy ounce.

USD/COP was up 0.26% to 4,000.44, while BRL/COP rose 0.05% to 738.01.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.18% at 96.65.
